Good Afternoon Parents,

Homework: Read for 20 Minutes and log. Science Worksheet about naming the parts of a plant. Please have your children write the spelling words again as well. I sent home the ice cream paper for them to write on. Please continue to practice spelling words with your children. The test will be on Tuesday. October 13th.

Reminder: If you have not done so already please send in permission slip for your child to participate in Dress Down Day or Pizza Day. Dress Down Day is Thursday, October 8th, 2015..Wear Pink! Pizza Day is Wednesday, October 21st, 2015.

I sent home a note today about the Halloween Party that will take place at school on Friday, October 30th, 2015.

I also sent home a permission slip, this permission slip is for the students that indicated that they wanted to be in my Homework Club that will take place on Wednesdays from 3:00 to 3:45 PM. Please sign and return if your child will be able to participate in the club.

Please send in the notice about Dress Down Day. Dress Down Day will take place on October 8th, 2015. A note was sent home yesterday about it. Please indicate if you are allowing your child to participate.

Dear Parents,

It was a pleasure to meet all the parents who came to Meet the Teacher last night. As we talked about last night, I sent home a note with the blog website so you will be able to access it. I am going to be updating the blog every night after school with homework and important information.

Tonight for homework the students were given a math worksheet. They are also to read for 20 minutes and fill out their reading log.

Starting next week I am going to be giving the students spelling words. 10 words a week and there will be spelling tests on Fridays.

I will post the words on here on Monday and I will be giving the students the words on Monday.

Two math sheets, we started the packet in class today. They have to finish the last 2 pages for homework.

Read for 20 minutes and please record it on the reading log.

Also, if you have not sent in all 5 marble notebooks for your child please send them in by Friday, because we started working in all of the notebooks.
