SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1)In Math we are reviewing measurement now with estimation, measuring length, height, perimeter, inches. We will be using non standard tools to measure. Examples: paper clips and connecting cubes. We will practice each section in class so homework will be easier to do… PLEASE PRACTICE AT HOME…. measure length and height of a table or a cereal box so children can see this math in action.


2)In Science we will return to plants and animals and how they adapt to the changing seasons. We will research the importance of trees and plants and how they provide oxygen for our planet.

3)In Social Studies we will look for connections to our Science reading.
Example:How can we help preserve our natural resources? Trees/plants/water
